I personally find this to be one of the most impacting passages i have yet to study. To summarize in one verse the suffering the Christ our savior endured for our salvation is simply mind blowing. I have personally only came to terms with my faith in the past year and this is one passage i have always come back to in times of strife and suffering. It always reassures me that Christ gave more for me then i can ever possibly understand. Sometimes we try to say that we cant possibly make it through the things in our lives yet compared to the suffering on the cross we feel nothing. Christ bore the sins of the world allowed himself to be cast from his Fathers presence so that we may have eternal life and salvation this is simply incredible.

These people believe in Christ's suffering soo much, that they start bleeding where they believe Christ bled. For some, lash wounds start appearing on their back, and then the wounds from the crown of thorns. For others, blood starts coming out of one hand, and then the other, in the system of being nailed on the cross. Stigmata feel a lot of agony, but the wound heal up quickly and don't scar. It's a scientific anomaly. Some bleed every Friday, and some n Good Friday, and so on. They die around 33, the same age Jesus was believed to die at. | |
